Macdonald Minor Ball is raising funds to improve the softball and baseball diamonds used for league play in La Salle, Oak Bluff, Sanford, and Starbuck.

 

The money you raise will go directly to the diamonds of the community you reside in!

 

Raffle Prize

• WestJet Gift of Flight - Roundtrip flight for two to any regularly scheduled WestJet destination! (Taxes, fees, and some restrictions apply).

How to Sell Tickets

Our 2026 Diamond Improvement Fund Raffle is now live! Follow these steps to start selling and track your way to the Top Seller Prizes. 

1. Share Digitally: Copy and paste the following link into text messages, emails, or social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, X): Rafflebox - Macdonald Minor Ball - WestJet Gift of Flight Voucher

2. Use the QR Code: If you are selling in person, have your supporter scan this raffle QR code on your phone or printed flyer.

 Note: Supporters can select your name from the "In Support Of" drop-down menu at checkout to ensure you receive credit toward the top seller prizes.

3. Payment: All transactions are secure and must be completed online using a credit card, Visa Debit, or MasterCard Debit.

4. Step up to the plate: All Macdonald softball and baseball players are encouraged to sell a minimum of $50 in tickets to help make this initiative a home run for our ball diamonds!

 

Track Your Progress

• Real-Time Leaderboard: Visit our raffle page and click the "Top Fundraisers" tab. This acts as a live leaderboard showing who is leading the race for top seller prizes.

• Sales Notifications: You (or your parent) will receive an automated email notification every time someone buys a ticket using your link or selecting your name.

 

Seller Tips for Success

• Tell your "Why": When sharing your link, mention that funds go directly to the diamonds in your town (La Salle, Oak Bluff, Sanford, or Starbuck).

• Follow Up: People often forget to buy on the first ask. Send a friendly reminder a week before the May 22nd deadline.

Raffle Rules

• All bookings and travel must be completed by Sunday, February 7, 2027.

• Electronic Draw; performed by Certified Random Number Generator.

• The winning ticket number and winner's name will be posted online at the raffle website following the draw as well as Macdonald Minor Ball website and social media.

• Must be a resident of Manitoba or physically located in Manitoba to purchase tickets.

• Must be 18+ years of age to enter the raffle.

• Members of our organization or persons involved in the conduct or management of the raffle can purchase tickets.Winners will be contacted via email and phone call, with follow-up emails and calls for three subsequent days if there is no response.

• Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the draw. If the selected winner does not claim the prize within 30 days of the draw, Caisse Community Centre will retain ownership of the prize.

• Photo identification is required to claim a prize.

• All tickets will be sold online using Rafflebox only.

• Raffle tickets are non-refundable.

• Raffle tickets are not eligible for tax receipts.

• The deadline to purchase tickets is May 22, 2026 @ 12pm.

• Draw will take place May 22, 2026 @ 1pm at Caisse Community Centre, MB. Winner does not need to be present.

• Please keep the email copy of your ticket, in the event of a disagreement in the draw precedence will be given to original ticket issued.

 

The fine print - WestJet Gift of Flight prize:

 

1) This voucher is valid for one (1) roundtrip flight for two (2) guests to any regularly scheduled and marketed WestJet destination. Gift of flight vouchers are not valid for redemption on WestJet Vacations' or Sunwing Vacations' packages, flights operated by Sunwing Airlines, charters, codeshare, or interline flights.

2) This voucher is limited and subject to promotional space availability of eligible fare options and flight schedule. Not all flights have promotional space.

3) Fees, taxes, and surcharges are the responsibility of guests traveling and must be paid for at the time of booking with a valid credit card. Vouchers do not include optional fees such as checked baggage or cabin upgrades.

4) This voucher cannot be used on some dates, including statutory holidays and peak travel dates.

5) Flights must be roundtrip to and from the same locations. Flights must depart from city A to city B and return from city B to city A. All guests must travel together on the same itinerary, dates, and flights.

6) All bookings and travel must be completed by Sunday, February 7, 2027.

7) Gift of flight vouchers cannot be extended. Additionally, changes to travel dates or guest names are not permitted once a booking has been confirmed.

8) Bookings made with a gift of flight voucher are not eligible for paid cabin upgrades except where the option to pay for an upgrade is available when checking in for the flight 24 hours prior to departure.

9) This voucher will become null and void if travel is cancelled once a booking is confirmed.

10) The individual booking the flights must be over the age of majority in their province.

11) This voucher must be taken as offered and is not redeemable for cash.

12) Gift of flight vouchers cannot be sold. In the event that it has been sold, the voucher will become void, and any flight bookings made with it will be cancelled immediately without notice or reimbursement. WestJet does not handle the payment, guarantee transactions, or buyer protection or seller certification, nor will WestJet be liable for the loss of funds resulting from a fraudulent transaction.

13) WestJet is not responsible for lost or mishandled vouchers. Once a voucher has been delivered to you, you are directly responsible for it.
